    Suhas is the Director of the Renewable Energy Program and an Associate Professor at Texas Tech University.

The NAWEA Education Committee aims to advance high-quality, accessible wind energy education across North America. The committee’s work has included leading a National Science Foundation (NSF) supported initiative to develop WindU, an expandable, multi-university consortium focused on graduate education in wind energy. Building on that foundation, the committee developed the NAWEA Course Endorsement Program to recognize courses that meet high standards of technical rigor and industry relevance.
